I Become Frustrated When I Am Misunderstood

There are ten months between my one brother and me, I am the senior member in this sibling relationship, but he acts like the elder.

I have a stuttering problem. I have had it since I learned how to talk. Adults got angry when I attempt to say something and get jumble-mouthed. Friends of mine don't say anything, but that doesn't stop my dear brother.

One day in the first apartment, he said to me as he was leaving, "Don't stutter when you talk. People will think you're lying to them."Picking on me for something I couldn't control! That makes me more frustrated than ever.

I haven't forgiven him for his telling me to "shut up" when we went for the interview for the second apartment - and I won't, either. It's been four full months now since I have been here, and I'm sure Margie (the office realtor) is wondering why I didn't say two words during the interview. I can't explain my sibling's actions.

I have a Christian name. I am getting tired of being introduced to his friends as "my sister". But he makes sure I know what the other person's name is. "Andy, this is my sister." Like that, you know?

Frustration is born out of misunderstanding, Everybody knows that.

@Fishing65 No problem - I don't have one. But if I did, he would probably smash him in his sarcastic mouth.

@Fishing65 Oh, God - I won't tell him THAT. All it'll do is start a war. Then he will get mad and yell, "I can't get angry! I have high blood pressure!" Well, so do other people. What does he suppose HBP comes from - and not overnight?
