I Get Annoyed Easily

Came home to my A/C's off and the windows open. On a cool breezy day id love it.
But it's hot, humid and the air outside is super thick and horrid.
I get it she was trying to be nice and "save energy" there are better ways.
It takes double the energy to cool my apartment than to keep it cool.
She could have turned off the tv, unplugged my niece from the phone chargers for a minute idk, not use the flat iron... Anything really.
So I got home from a long day at work, achy body, horrid migraine and Now I have to wait for my apartment to cool down... The cold shower wasn't enough...

That's it I'm asking my hubs to take me and the kids out to dinner and a movie

Lol no I don't have that fancy gadget.
I live in an apartment and my air conditioning comes from window air conditioners

Specifically one in my living room and one in each bedroom.
We keep the doors open for the bedrooms during the day and the conditioners set at 68-70
My apartment stays cool and my bill is only 45-55 a mo.

Two summers ago I was only turning them on at night my bills were between 89-110

I hear ya Johnny I went a few years without but I really need it these days.
With my medical condition I've been finding it difficult to regulate my body temperature- cooling down had become a chore. Even in the winter

I know what you mean. Similarly, I can't get too hot because of my medication. I learned that the hard way years ago. I almost died. Hopefully we're getting a window unit soon... or another house!

Check out if you have an ABT location near you they always have great prices and even if you just get a unit for your room that would be an improvement

I have no air conditioning in my house. It really sucks this time of year. We poor folk!

Good idea. It's a small house, so it should make a big difference.
That's very expensive. Wow!
They have the iPhone app to control your thermostat.
