what should you do if you get easily offended

i'm the easily offended type, i soon take offence with people and feel angry....so it makes socializing and even being on social media hard....in the past i stormed out of social gatherings because i got offended by what someone said..

what's the answer to this?

@Idontbelonghere yes i must try to see things in the context they were meant and not overreact because i thought they meant something else.
