Practical view....

Drag queens and story times for children isn't necessary.

That's the bottom line.
You don't have to agree, many others don't understand it either.
It doesn't mean it's hateful. Phobic or whatever else you want to label people who don't agree. Its healthy to question anything that goes against the grain, is it not?

Also, if so many are questioning it, then evidently it's going to be very difficult for society as a whole to be able to accept it as the norm.

Life is confusing enough in this crazy world for little humans to live in.
They don't need more confusion added to the mix.

Taking your kids to the theater isn't necessary, teaching them art at school isn't, watching a movie isn't, .... culture isn't a necessity but it's still something people enjoy.

A Drag Queen doesn't confuse kids any more than any other new person they meet or new occurance in their life.
Maybe you project your own confusion on kids?🤔

sorry but what a utterly ridiculous claim

@Torsten Can you cite me child psychology research that backs your worldview on this up?

You have more issues with Drag Queens than kids would have. As a kid I went to theaters with actors dressed just like Drag queens and It didn’t confuse me at all.
Seriously your whining about Drag queens is hysterical and truly ridiculous.

@Gloomy can you cite me child psychology research that backs up your claim? forgetting of course your own supposed child experience?

I only complain bout drag queens when children are involved.
You and others defense of it is disturbing and disgusting..
