More food drama
So I get home with only two hours to french class... I know I had to cook fast to have enough time to eat before class... The fish I wanted to make cooks very quickly, so that was not a problem. But I like to eat it with carmalised onion rice, and onion takes forever to carmalise... i still thought there is enough time... I put the onion first thing and left it to carmalise for like 40 mins and it still had a long way to go... I went to my room to set the show (because I am a pathetic loser who eats alone watching series) and I kept trying to connect to netflix, I figured, it is okay there is still time, only I come back and the onions are pretty much burned ...!!!
I cannot believe that after I wasted a lot of time going to buy the onions first, cried my way through cutting it because my eyes are sensitive these days and they burn very easily, so it was torture... then waited for it to carmalise... and I leave for a few minutes and it is burnt...All the wasted time!!!!
I tried to convince myself that I could use it, but I make a lot of rice to last me for a a few days (well a lot as compared to my consumption) and so I was not about to make rice that tasted like burned sh!t in order to eat it over the week...
Then I ended up making something real fast, and I am just in time for my french class! Had I made this the minute I got home, I would have had plenty of time to relax and prepare for class... but nooooo. And then tomorrow I have to prepare it, when today I thought I saved myself some time tomorrow to do other things... Ugh adulting is very hard......
