I Have No Time For Idiots

Sigh, some people are really stupid, genuinely stupid. A friend of mine has been unemployed for months now and he has been applying for jobs every day. And so I decide to hospitably take a look at his Linkedin profile.. and guess what.. he has grammar mistakes in his About section and he only lists where he worked and studied.. and no details, nothing, not study year, not what he did at those jobs, nothing. So I reached out to him and I told him that those things are a huge red flag and no employer will want to even consider him. So he goes telling me: "My previous manager said it looked good and my friend who makes six figures said it looked good, but ok, I'll take your advice".

This guy is so stupid.. I am his best friend and I care the most about him in the world and he goes on and base people's advice on their social status. I just can't. He's so f*cking stupid. I told him: "You shouldn't just blindly accept someone's review of you just because they said 'your profile looks good'. You do know people often just say things to shut you up, right? You should hear what they found good and why". Yeah, I'm too much of a good guy. I wrote him an elaborate response about every detail that is wrong with his resume. Guess what he does: he doesn't give a crap just because I'm not some hot shot making six figures. This guy is so dumb. Sigh.

Screw it, he can wallow in his unemployment. I'm putting my effort in other people.
