I Hate It When Someone Doesnt Text Back

I actually kind of turned my relationship with an aunt and her family on the sour side because she'd WhatsApp me and I'd read after getting off work and never reply. Mostly because I didn't have wifi to respond and forgot to when I did. Sigh.

Also if its a serious/complex subject being discussed my brain doesn't want to process that during down time so I just don't respond at all until I can give a proper well thought of reply

Ah okay, maybe it's hard for them to explain sometimes. I know I find it hard to explain my feelings and such, and sometimes I just don't feel like talking about it. But I don't know about others.

Sometimes so much time passed that I don't bother. I think that's what bugged her. 90% of the time I leave the message unread so that I can go back to responding later but it doesn't work out. You should see my WhatsApp. Hundreds of unread messages xD I'm just not that social. Being tired makes it worse. Also important fact: I usually see messages after hours. It's not proper to me to reply to a message at 10pm in the night. But that's only for phones/other devices

Dani, I think that's a valid reason, I don't think you did anything wrong there. I sometimes leave a message for a later time too, but in my case, I leave it unread so that I will not forget to reply to it. But at least I/you reply once we realise it and have time right? Some people just chose to not reply at all on purpose.

I do ask. But its like they don't want to think about what was said and formulate an answer. I always get the: Well I have to think of something and its like the convo never happened.

But I understand what you're saying. I always complete a conversation. It's the random hellos and how are yous that I delay responses to. For the talkatives sometimes the only way to end a convo is by not replying!

Yes, I know, it's also a way to end a conversation. Though, I personally don't mind when others change the topic, unless it's way too sudden. At least they're continuing the conversation

Well I always would like to know the guy's perspective or suggestion. It's not a one way conversation. I wish men expressed their feelings more :/

Well, if you feel like a man (or woman) isn't being expressive enough, you can always ask them to explain a bit more in that particular situation. By the way, where are you from?

What do you mean what can you do? All you have to do is send a reply, it's not that hard?

How about this?: What I don't like about you guys is me typing out a couple lines of a serious message or any other kind of msg and y'all just replying with 'ok' or changing topic
