@Quizzical A ladies size 12 would be a man's 32. no matter if it is a 32/30, 32/32,32/34 or whatever. There are men to women conversion charts all over the internet. At best they are just guidelines.

Mind you, I don't tend to go in for wearing women's clothing 😆

@Quizzical A lot of women shop in the men's dept FOR themselves. Remember jeans we re not i nthe ladies dept until 1975 or so. so in 1959 and on when she wore 'cut off" shorts, they were men's jeans!

Then came the issue of men who crossdresssed and were even transwomen and that was an issue. to them as well. I see many other women wearing tee shirts cut in his style.

But I understand what you mean.I have been talking of fashion for too many years....

I just look for a big waist and short legs and if it fits I buy it 😆
