They're actually smart, studies show that DEI policies actually thrive financially. So businesses that don't adapt to a diverse world but want to stick to old ways of only having "one type of person, equaling one type of thinker," end up dying off. It will be interesting to see the impact the companies who caved into removing their DEI programs has years later as it usually takes awhile but interesting nonetheless.
