Yeah, every now and then, I come across someone who assumes that I'm just a dumb Mexican 🙄. Sometimes, all I have to do is mention that I have college degrees and they are like 👀.

Speaking as somebody with a college degree myself, it really doesn't make you smart or mean you are smart because of it. My intelligence comes from nature and reading a TON of books and consuming large amounts of information. Not my college degree.

@Nature3 Exactly, pretty much the same for me. What I was referring to though is the fact that many Mexicans or Hispanics in general don't go to college to begin with, and a result some people do get surprised to hear about one with not just an undergraduate degree, but also a graduate degree as well 🤷‍♀️.
