I Need Somewhere To Vent, Without Fear Of Judgement

I am in so much pain it is almost unbearable and no one can help me until Medicare approves or disapproves the MRI my Orthopedic Surgeon ordered!! I can't take anything for the pain until after I have had the MRI either!!

Update: I will be having an MRI on Tuesday! Thank you for all your prayers and kind wishes.

Update: I have had the MRI, X-rays of knees and hips and a lot of bloodwork. Still no answers.

Next will be some nerve tests (EMD) and a visit to a rheumatologist.

Update: The nerve conductive study was done yesterday. I am waiting to hear the results as soon as the report has been written.

Update: I got the results back from the test on Monday. It was great news. My nerves and muscles are all working properly.

Update: I was able to get an earlier appointment to see the rheumatologist on the 4th of March! That is good news.

Sorry that I just noticed this post and sorry to hear about your pain. I had back pain for several years and nothing helped either drugs or PT. One thing did help however and that was bio-feedback which worked well for that at the time and I continue to use the methods 30 years later. It worked well for me and might be worth a try. It is a form a of meditation and you can use it for any area of your body and mind. I haven't seen anything advertised for classes anymore but you can get info on it by looking on the web.
