I Need Somewhere To Vent, Without Fear Of Judgement

I am in so much pain it is almost unbearable and no one can help me until Medicare approves or disapproves the MRI my Orthopedic Surgeon ordered!! I can't take anything for the pain until after I have had the MRI either!!

Update: I will be having an MRI on Tuesday! Thank you for all your prayers and kind wishes.

Update: I have had the MRI, X-rays of knees and hips and a lot of bloodwork. Still no answers.

Next will be some nerve tests (EMD) and a visit to a rheumatologist.

Update: The nerve conductive study was done yesterday. I am waiting to hear the results as soon as the report has been written.

Update: I got the results back from the test on Monday. It was great news. My nerves and muscles are all working properly.

Update: I was able to get an earlier appointment to see the rheumatologist on the 4th of March! That is good news.

I am very disappointed. The MRI didn't show any problems with my back. The pain seems to be growing more intense every day. I am hoping that I will find some answers soon.

@SweetMae im sorry to hear that mae maybe you have fibromyalgia that could cause pain and stuff

@SweetMae I believe kidney stones and gall stones can manifest as back pain. Also there are articles about MRI's not detecting pinched nerves in the lower back.

Try doing a Google on "back pain not detected by MRI".

Remember, medical professionals "practice". And they don't always get it right the 1st time.

You still on the prayer list.

@SweetMae I hope they've done a good check on your kidneys. This sounds exactly like a bad kidney.

@SweetMae That is a little disheartening. I hope that you can find someone who can give you some concrete answers. And soon. Thinking about you @SweetMae
