I Need Somewhere To Vent, Without Fear Of Judgement

I am in so much pain it is almost unbearable and no one can help me until Medicare approves or disapproves the MRI my Orthopedic Surgeon ordered!! I can't take anything for the pain until after I have had the MRI either!!

Update: I will be having an MRI on Tuesday! Thank you for all your prayers and kind wishes.

Update: I have had the MRI, X-rays of knees and hips and a lot of bloodwork. Still no answers.

Next will be some nerve tests (EMD) and a visit to a rheumatologist.

Update: The nerve conductive study was done yesterday. I am waiting to hear the results as soon as the report has been written.

Update: I got the results back from the test on Monday. It was great news. My nerves and muscles are all working properly.

Update: I was able to get an earlier appointment to see the rheumatologist on the 4th of March! That is good news.

That's sad. I hurt my back several weeks ago and I have been in a lot of pain. It's getting better, but I feel so old and hopeless. Get better!

@hunkalove Thank you! Mine is nerve pain.

Nerve pain is excruciating. Years ago, I had to go to the ER and have morphine for some kind of sciatica that had me unable to sit for 3-weeks. I was on the verge of throwing myself out of the car when taken to hospital. It was unbearable. I feel for you. I’d have to take something or go to the ER. That kind of pain puts a stress on your vitals. @SweetMae

@Carissimi If it doesn't subside in another hour, I am going to the ER.

Please do. No one should be left to suffer like that.@SweetMae

@Carissimi They finally gave me some pain medication. I just have to wait an hour to see if it works

Good. Let’s hope it gives you relief. Are you still at the ER?@SweetMae

@Carissimi Yes, I am. Another half hour, I think I can go home then.

It’s good you’re still there so they can monitor the effectiveness of the meds they gave you.@SweetMae
