No. I don't think it's the people.
I think it's the entitlement that bothers me.
"Can I help you find anything today?" comes across as insulting.
Whereas, most sales people don't realise their purpose is to have a customer help them to help the customer.
It's insane to think you can just knock on a stranger's door, and believe they'll be up for a random conversation, nvm a sale.
