Annoyed at Social Media

I made a post on social media about how I liked to have a glass of nonalcoholic wine while I take a hot bath at night.

And this guy cracks a joke “I think nonalcoholic wine is just called grape juice”

Yeah use my sobriety to make a dumb joke 🙄 people just don’t think before they speak. Alcohol ruined my life once and it’s a struggle for me. And I have morons like that guy digging at me about it thinking it’s funny.

I try not to post much on social media etc because of responses like that. The culture towards alcohol is getting worse although drink is more prominent these days. I have an on going issue and I’ve never been brave enough to speak out about it. I continue to do damage to myself.

I’m sorry that the comment hurt you, I’m guessing he probably didn’t mean offence but what was innocent comment to him obviously not for you.

Amazing that you are sober, I hope one day I’ll be brave enough to do so
