Some of these “no excuses” entrepreneurs can be so annoying.

Not everyone can or wants to run a business. It’s not an excuse, it’s a reason.

This chick recommended that I see oyster shell wind chimes since I grew up in an “oystering village”, I can get them cheap.

1. Oyster shells are ugly
2. I wouldn’t want an oyster shell windchimsmif it was for free. So how am I expected to get people to buy them?
3. I’m not a good liar. Oysters shells aren’t cute and would make ugly wind chimes

Worst advice ever. Would you buy an ugly oyster shell windchime so some jew from New Jersey can make $1?
Nope. No interest in windchimes here....especially oyster shell junk.

Of note: I own a business..... every day it amazes me how many people think that if you own a business you just kick back and rake in the bucks "working half a day".

I always tell them "Which 12 hours of the day do you want to work?"
@Threepio yeah, I got recommended this idea on a post about high rent costs. This person recommended living in a town with a lower cost of living. So I informed her about the harsh reality of living in a rural area (poverty, rampant drug issues, lack of jobs etc) and she recommended this to me. I didn’t even need a source of income but it’s wild to me she thinks people can pay their bills selling wind chimes.
@666Maggotz I get that a lot. A large majority of my sales take place on-line and there are (sometimes) days and even weeks where you don't get a sale. It is just the way it is these days..... and if you don't have a cushion of cash to fall back on ..... you won't survive.
