Annoying type of people: depressed people whom you support the shit out of but they don't listen to your advice at all and continue moping. It's like throwing food into the garbage.

We won't understand the depressed people. It isn't like they never tried to be positive again. Also depression can be in the genes. I don't think you would understand or also not me...

@Iwillsurvive I got a lot of firsthand experience with this particular topic
Sorry to hear. it sounds more than difficult. How do you handle it?

@Iwillsurvive a combination of meds and lifestyle changes, including moving to where we live now. I went through a lot of therapy but that phase is largely over with now. I had been doing a lot of things inadvertently that were making it worse, and identifying and avoiding those things was part of the set of lifestyle changes I made. I have to be quite disciplined and watchful. I know the kinds of things I'm likely to do during episodes and try to preempt them, so for example I don't control the money or have credit cards.
@SW-User Yeah, I really meant bipolar because Tripolar is psychosis.

@Existentior My condolences, it's a hell of a monster to live with. I didn't get diagnosed until I was 35, so I had no therapy and no (effective) meds until that point. I'm not going back to life without mood stabilizers, though. I get psychotic depression and it's unspeakable.
