I know and love someone with anger issues and when they burst out I understand and forgive them. They're hurt.
In contrast, I know and love someone else who does the same thing and I don't forgive them because they expect me to just be okay with it. They have the mentality that people subjected to their anger simply deserved it.
The fact that you regret getting angry says a lot. It's okay.
