Am I right to be pissed off

So years ago my sister gave me a Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi which my mum scrapped behind my back while I was as work and kept the money ‘ she keeps saying it was ages ago my sister takes my mums side so I’m taking my mum to court for the money am I right to do that ?
