Streams, Dreams, & Crosses

A world I chose to fill with dreams
Smashing through the million screams
And though it's not all it seems
The river's built from a million streams.

Within the darkened, deadened wood
A million wishes do no good
But carry on as if I should
A million crosses where I once stood

A desperate wind so cold did blow
And with nowhere left for me to go
And only dreams are all I know
I trod along like a wish;
Deposed
