why are the commercial breaks on tv getting worse

[c=BF0080][i]i can't watch a tv show or film now without every couple of minutes an advert interrupting it, the ad breaks are getting worse for sure, i'm seriously considering getting rid of my tv and just having the internet, my computer....at least on my computer, i have ad blockers.[/i][/c]
