What is the most racist city or town you have ever been in?

My parents told me this story. Back in 1984 when we were moving from Houston to Chicago, we stopped for gas at a town in Arkansas. As we were about to leave, a local sheriff came up to us and talked to my parents for a couple of minutes, and then recommended that we leave by the time the sun went down, for our own safety. In fact, it was probably best if we just got back on the highway right away.

In America? Boston.

But they do put creativity into it☺️

@Slade Boston is not racist.
@GeistInTheMachine It does have a history of racial tensions, no doubt. I would say it's on the same level as other large cities like New York, L.A, and Chicago.

@latinbutterfly Meh. So has all of the US.

Overall, Boston is not Racist.

@GeistInTheMachine Sure tell me all about it. I only grew up there. Like most northern cities it simmers below the surface. Shows up as pure contempt
@GeistInTheMachine Like I said, it is pretty much on the same level as other large cities in the U.S. as far as racism goes. Didn't say it was a totally racist city but, it does exist.

@Slade Some people look too hard for trouble.

@latinbutterfly Look at the busing crisis in the 70's. City is totally segregated (Like Milwaukee) and groups don't mix.

So back then some leftist do gooder judge orders the different groups of kids to be bussed to the 'hoods where they are hated. Riots happened every day.

So brilliant only an intellectual could come up with that👎
