Do u believe that the Covid-19 vaccination is a waste of time ? 😷

I'm not a scientist nor a virologist, epidemiologist, only a healthcare professional whose been following this since the inception two years ago this March when it hit North America. The world seemed to get knocked on its posterior by this virtually unknown virus.

There's going to be those individuals who disagree with being vaccinated and will continue to negate their beliefs and theories. I've been fully vaccinated as well as most of my family. A few of my relatives don't believe the virus even exists. Yet you go into the ICU and see the very sick or dying usually on respirators and some in comas.

I'm not going dispute it, there's proof that it exists and I've lost a few friends and know of healthcare professionals who have succumbed to the pandemic. Yes everyone has their rights and I believe we all entitled to our beliefs. I chose to become vaccinated, I wasn't forced at the time.

How many children are immunized every year to protect them against infectious diseases? I'm not disputing science nor what the WHO have told us. I have followed the guidelines, protocols and regulations put in place. It saddens me that so many people live in fear every single day because of all the negativity that exists and is thrown around.

There's so much hate and animosity out there today because of how divisive this has become. My greatest hope is that it will end soon and we can once again return to some normalcy. I'm not out to prove anything, I remain hopefully optimistic and positive that perhaps we'll have learned something from all of this.
