I got it after surgery, symptoms were not able to breathe ,like if you get the wind knocked out of you and can't catch your breath. Lasted ten days at least i kind of lost track . Hope i never get it again

@kodiac see cause i have a cough that I can't get rid of. Early on, I was coughing so much I had to have a cup to spit in in my car and a trash car beside me at home. It's been lingering , though not as bad for over a month now. I got chest X-rays and it says possible mild basilar pneumonia. I have yet to hear from my doc. Seems like they are just guessing

@iamnikki Seems like the doctor should be more proactive pneumonia is dangerous. I was in hospital for a week iv antibiotics having to cough out the pneumonia with 30 stiches in my stomach

@kodiac yea I don't think it's pneumonia

I’ve had low grade pneumonia. It needs treatment as it takes a long time to go away on its own or can turn fatal sometimes.

One time about 35 years ago. I have no idea what kind. The doctor gave me medicine and I had to stay home from work for a week. I had a fever and a cough. I had chills too. I just slept a lot and watched movies.
