An illustration is drawing ( like withdrawing money) of a concept or idea from the mind onto a medium to make it tangible. We can illustrate using words or sketches or other ways.

A graphic art is when an already tangible / visible thing is presented graphically. Like a painting of a monument or a person or landscape.

Graphic design is just presenting shapes and colours in a visually appealing manner.
