48 years...so far! [I Enjoy Swinging]
My wife and I started swinging just after we got married in 1972. We were young, adventurous and we'd come out of the permissive 1960s. Free love, the pill, tearing down the social norms of our parents - all these things formed part of why a suggestion from some older neighbours to swing just felt like something we wanted to try.
It's 48 years later and we still swing. We keep thinking about the time we may decide to stop but as long as we're fit, willing and able, and there are couples out there wanting to be with us, we don't see the need to stop. Clubs or scenes you visit go into and out of favour depending on the clientele, and we've moved with our tastes and age.
