Druidry Today

I was sitting in the little park between the towers where I live, sipping my morning coffee, when I noticed that the lower branches of the trees had been shaved off with a chainsaw, probably for daring to inconvenience us humans.
In memory of my forebears, the Druids, I went over, put my hand on the wounds and silently asked their forgiveness and told them that I shared their pain. The leaves whispered a thank you.

I appreciate your sentiment and concern for the tree, but it might also have been done to encourage healthy top growth or to stop the lower parts being chewed on by animals 🦌
