virginity isnt the same thing for men and women. A man cannot be a virgin but the term is used anyway for them also. Losing virginity is simply with the act of penetration and not oral sex. So it is possible also in gay sex to ''lose'' it.

To be virgin is often a psychological concept. So if you consider yourself not to be virgin, you surely are not.

So a girl who says that she slept with a 100 men cannot say that she is still a virgin for her--it means that she needs to do it with someone she loves. Might aswell invent a new word for it. Its simply the breaking of the hymen for a girl and the first penetration act for a men (which sometimes break their skin tissue also)
