Would you keep a gold find secret?

A Belgian student strikes gold worth €9m while digging a new sewer. He and the property owner needs to wait atleast five years for the rightful owner doesn't show up, and they'll own half each.

The main news reported the finders as builders, not "a student", so that half will be shared between the team. Still a lot of money for each, though.

What is really odd is the hoard's existence, and who created it. The chances of identifying the individual and any successive owner must be pretty slim.

I’m terrible w secrets . Owner probably long dead anyways.

@AthrillatheHunt Oh, almost certainly. Any records existing on alterations to the building might give a clue as the more recent age for the hoard. The bars' identity-markings might still be traceable in some way.

Probably not. Be too afraid of someone finding out.
