I Am a Flirt

BIG TIME ! If you were a woman of any age, young or old, I would give you your necessary medical procedures, (EKG,blood draw, hookups to heart monitors) with a warm smile, skill and concern. Id also make you feel welcom, safe and well attended. If you were with someone who was a patient, i made eye contact, i spoke with compassion, i made you understand what i was doing for your loved one and i made them (patient) feel well and expertly cared for. I made sure coffee was provided for those who were tired, kids and hungry adults were fed and i took THEM or showed them where the pantry was. I built bridges between busy doctors and worried patients. Im not Brad Pitt, but had I not been married, I could have gotten ALOT of "play" there. And I was good at my job and I loved it. But my CONSTANT flirting gave me alot of stories and cost me my marriage. Miss that job.

You need to separate those feelings when you're dealing with patients... lots of good looking patients come through where I work but I only see them as patients nothing else. I'm sorry about your marriage....

@SW-User i did manage to separate thise feelings as my second msg shows. The patients care was ALWAYS first. I also made sure my patients were well covered up as much as I could. We did have patients that kept exposong themselves though. I was a FLIRT, but never a jerk. I never led anyone on and I never compromised my duties. Ironically though, this almost seemed like a turn on to female ER staff and patient family.

I agree there is lots of flirting between staff members but patients never... joking with some patients yes never flirting though

Yes, it was a DEN OF INIQUITY. Doctors, nurses, PA's, Techs, CNA's, volunteer staff, Registrants flirting and many sleeping with eachother.I flirted but I never did that. Now being alone I can hold my head up about that, but then again, if I had, I wouldnt be alone right now,...

"Sunny", right now I'm just lonely as heck, just tired of being alone. Thats why I'm here. People to talk to. Stories to tell. Experiences to share and also to listen to others who either have exciting stuff to share, yes, flirting too. Also to answer questions for people who may be heading down the wrong track as I did. Confusing,... 😯. Yup, men can feel this way too. Thanks though !
