Is the concept of 'sexual (or dating) market value' really a valid way to assess other people (or yourself even)?

How many women sub-consciously rate men (and other women) that way almost without thinking? 8-)

Everyone does it, mostly subconsciously- I’m not saying it’s right or not but we all will rate people we meet based on their attractiveness, and treat them differently because of it.
