Prescription pain pill abuse, and the use of street drugs. Major red flag I wish I never ignored.

Oh they have a lot of pain. So it must be okay. 4 diffent doctors giving them the same pain pills. Some without a prescription, just cash sometimes.

Then the use of street drugs. A little weed is not a big deal, but this wasn't weed. This was the hard shit that would end lives with.

Ignored everything, even the abuse a drug addict puts you though.

Dont know how many countless times o had to stick my fingers down their throat to keep them from ODing. Trying to hide the kids from seeing it.

There's a breaking point where you see yourself in mirror and go "WTF am I doing here!"

The dating part.

Drinking a lot. This woman was always drunk when we went out, but she was fun. I would meet up with her at the Star Theatre, and we'd hit the dance floor, and I'd listen to her goofy theories about how vampires can't get AIDS or whatever.

Turns out that wasn't her only crazy. She was in Oregon because she had warrants in Florida.

We didn't break up exactly. They found her.
