I'll talk to people who are supposedly interested in me but the moment they want to meet I disappear. Why? Doubt they'd want me anymore in person

I'm no catfish and I use updated photos of myself online but I just feel they'd change their mind if I actually showed up. They'd probably go ew worse in person or god bigger in person.

Sometimes you just have to jump in both feet first and face up your fear.

More often than not its never as bad as you imagine its going to be.

Fearing the fear of something, more than fearing the something itself is queer little monster - the more we feed it, the bigger its teeth become.

@OogieBoogie I don't know I just can't seem to bring myself to actually go. I made plans for saturday with someone but don't want to go anymore and am trying to figure out an excuse.

- If you do go, and off chance it doesnt work out, you might feel bad.....or might not. It might be mutual.

- if you dont go, you'll definitely make them feel bad, and then youll feel bad.

What are you winning by not going?
Some false sense of security from staying isolated?

@IAmNothing If you hide from rejection what you want cannot possibly happen. You need to do the opposite. Face rejection and expect it. Just don't force it because of your fear. I can't count the number of times I tried something new and disappointed myself with no ones help. It's nothing to admit your nervous to someone you're first meeting. Stop over analyzing if they have seen your pictures. Give yourself a chance and I'm going to repeat again. Get rid of that profile pic and give yourself a chance. Keep meeting those that want to meet you. Let your inner personality represent you.
