If someone cheats on you while you are dating

Is it ok to try to work things out or should you always end it?

That would be odd, and might be due to one person assuming exclusivity when it was not assumed by the other...

@meeyuh Cheating while dating seems odd to me. Without an explicit commitment, it doesn't seem possible.
