Actually she liked me fine after we stopped dating and even started teaching me to cook some traditional dishes and some of the language. I just wasn’t marriageable in her eyes because I didn’t know the ways of the old country I guess.

@SwampFlower Sounds like a great love story that turns sour. There is a subplot you don't know about. Perhaps it is something dangerous, which would suit a Russian theme these days.
