What does it mean?

When a girl says she hates something and then a guy does the thing she hates, what does that mean? Such as a girl says "I hate the color white" and the guy starts wearing white or " I hate these types of pants" what does it mean if he starts wearing them? Is he trying to make her not interested in him?

If he is in the habit of wearing white, then white is his favourite colour. Why would he not wear it just because she dislikes it. In case he bought white clothing after she said she dislikes white, then he just wants her to get over it. Soon she will be okay with white.
