Why are women paying for dates and holding doors for men?

This is in continuation to my previous post. So this is the other side of the story- I see this all around me.. My girl friends do it too..I don't know what's wrong with them.. They pay for dates (claiming that they want to be treated equally and get offended even if the guy refuses) smh...
One of my friend drops off her dates back if even if she's taking an Uber.
Personally, I feel that it's not about going to the most luxurious dining place but making a woman comfortable. I wouldn't demand to be taken to a certain place if it was me.. I feel whatever is writing a man's budget should be considered. When a man pays on a date, it's a reassurance to the woman that she will be provided for.

I don't know why women these days want to behave like they are entitled to pay for their dates... I think that one you're in a relationship, the finances are shared so that shouldn't matter so much but at least till that point...I mean.. there are a lot of places where money wouldn't be a concern... And it's not just about money. I see women want to pamper men like they are wearing the pants in the relationship.

Whatever happened to the old times when women were wooed and men took care to make a woman feel secure and safe.

Some of us still believe in the"old ways".
And I don't know why it had to change. No wonder there are so many confused people in the world

@ApplepiedomIn today's screwed up world, do you even know if its a guy or girl ? All of this LGBTQ stuff just needs to go back in the closet.

@Applepiedom I'm with you. And people are talking about "equality". Equality has such a different meaning and it doesn't mean a woman has to try to become a man.
@Midlifemale As a gender dysphoric myself, I agree 1,000%, life was so much easier for us back then, we didn't open ourselves to the violence against us we have today.
@Midlifemale These days you'd be arrested for hate speech if you had said that.

@Kasiyat you're so very right. Equal but different. Men should never be allowed in women's sports unless they're both in same league. Like mixed sports.
