Are men wanting to be treated like women nowadays?

Women who are in the dating scene, have the men you've been meeting been wanting to be treated nicely, being paid for dates, picked up/dropped off etc?
I'm hearing it a lot these days. Is this true?

A man should pay for the date. A man should pick you up and hold the doors for you. I can’t even fathom asking a woman out and her driving or paying lol

@Justgreg how'd you know when you meet a guy for the first time how he's going to turn out to be though? Sometimes it's pretty apparent, other times, it's not. One time a guy (who was not funny or attractive as opposed to how he seemed in his picture) took me to one of the most posh restaurants and at the end he handed over the bill to me saying... Can you pls pay.. Something seems off with my card... And added.. I'll send you haldlf the amount.
I was so shocked 😐 but I did end up paying and he did end up sending me half the amount. Wtf

@Kasiyat I don’t know. I feel for women these days. My role is simple and requires no thought. Be a real man. But y’all have to deal with uncertainties. My daughter was going out on a date and asked me for some money in case she had to pay. I was confused.

@Kasiyat the point is that no woman should have to worry about that. Men need to act like men. I told her not to go on the date if she was worried about having to pay for anything.
