Why is it always the duty of a man to ask the woman for a date?
Men can be shy too. If you like him then, ask him to go out with you. Maybe that's the only barrier to possibly a wonderful relationship?

@VickeyH I really never understood why it always has been the man to ask out the woman. I don't see why it should be a problem for a woman to ask a man out. It's one sided when it comes to do you like the person or not. Some women probably lost a good opportunity because of that.
