Is it normal to feel nervous about inviting someone to your home?

I've started to really like him.
But his behaviour has been so disciplined and respectful that I've become nervous.

I'm paranoid that my place isn't tidy or clean enough.

I feel like I want to cancel tbh.

My home has a lot of issues, and I feel like it will just disappoint him.

Obviously being judged by others in the past doesn't help!

I never feel like this but he's made me this become a big deal.

🤢🤮🤯😨😭

you're thinking too much stop stressing. You will stress out and cancel. Go for a walk

@campfireandstars I didn't cancel.
But he's been exceptionally busy since and communication hasn't been the best.

It wasn't the worst first time but it wasn't the best either.

I think I'm losing my charm!

@Mellowgirl good that you did cancel. so how long was until he called after the date?
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@campfireandstars the day he stayed we text on/off but as the days go on communication has been really slow.

@Mellowgirl how long have you been seeing him. and in that time. how often was the chat before the dinner (i guessing) vs now.

@campfireandstars I've been talking to him since 7th June...
All moved very quickly and was all very exciting.
Our first meeting was July 2nd...
Which was just a walk In the park.

But we would text regularly from am to pm.
Breaks as he works full time and I don't.
But yea on and off through the day.

@Mellowgirlso, far it's only a lack of contact from the date. this isn't a bad thing, but it could be something. Fast moving or quickly isn't a red flag onto itself. my suggestion is also to do a background check as to public records and or criminal. just look at my only post i have on here. i just started here last night.

@campfireandstars you got a point there! instead of sitting there and stressing much...you should just go out and get some fresh air. that can help you with your question. or engage yourself with more communication
