How do you respond to someone cancelling a date due to insomnia/exhaustion?

I did this. I was really tired that day, and couldn't sleep because I was too exhausted. And had to cancel the date 5 hr before. So should I ask her out again. Is it respectful?

A date would likely wake you up because of the adrenaline if it’s a good date and you would probably have slept soundly after because you had a good day and was happy. I would be dubious about going on a date with someone who cancelled me just because they said they were tired but yes ask her again.

@SW-User I really do feel guilty but trust me man. I can't even drive properly when in exhaustion. I get what you mean, that's how I felt on my first date. Really like this girl and will surely ask her out. Wonder how I can explain to her so that she doesn't think I'm not as serious?
