if I'm honest It's just like it just reads like she wants the karma for having changed the guy into something more desirable and it's like men are what they are and what you see is what you're going to get long term.

Given my own attraction to strong willed and stubborn women I waited around until I found someone who was amenable to my own values I wanted someone more like me politically and my bae is a socialist.
I waited until someone who was already leaning in that direction showed up and then pounced on the opportunity. Which is a much saner way of dealing with things. IF guys don't want the same thing you do you cannot MAKE Them want it.
