I really like him…BUT

He is a nice guy, ambitious, and we went to the same University. He received his masters the day I received my bachelors. I’m honestly enamored with him so far. But I don’t like how he is always telling me how fine I am. I know this sounds crazy. But every other message is about how beautiful or fine I am and that he can’t believe I am interested in him.

And I’m thinking, do you even actually like me lmao? Or do you just like how I look. I know this sounds facetious, but I’m being honest. I like compliments just as much as the next person. But I also like for a person to see my inner qualities as well. I mean it’s kind of early in the dating process, so maybe he hasn’t had enough time to assess my other qualities. Idk.

Or maybe he's spent so.. much of his life into his education that he has had a lot of time and our experience socializing with other people and doesn't know what to say. Approach him, ask him if he'd like to go out sometime. Maybe you can ask him about himself

@Saucylover I don't know the full situation. If you like him (which it seems as though you may) and if he likes you, the rest is trivial and will iron itself out I imagine.
