IKR...
One of the single late 20's/early 30's women I talk to all the time was recently venting about the lack of age-appropriate single men in her dating pool and she seemed to get offended when I mentioned to her that her dating options would continue to narrow unless she was willing to include single dads.
The same logic goes for "single dads" unwilling to date single moms.

@Threepio The interesting part to me has always been that some people don't look far enough down the road into what's going to come later. By the mid thirties I'd think 95%+ of people have settled down and started having a family at that point (Some start as early as 18). The one thing I'd never want would be to have just "me, myself and I" later in life (think 60+... and that WOULD REALLY SUCK at being 80+ and just "Me, Myself, and I". Family is nice. Not saying the rest of your extended family isn't, I've got friends that are in that boat... but that's not a boat I'd be happy to jump into.

@bigdaddy283 not everyone wants kids. I don’t want children and neither does my boyfriend.
