I’ve been seeing this guy for a short while

He randomly asked if I loved him or if I “want” to love him. I didn’t really answer but I asked him the same thing and he replied with “I don’t know”.
What could this mean????
We’re only fwb and he knows I don’t want a bf any time soon.

It depends on a few things.
1) How long is "a short while"? Is it just 3-4 weeks, or 3-4 months? If it's the latter, maybe consider.
2) He might want change, but your answer determines his answer.
