I had a really nice time. Nothing weird or bad happened and he didn't try to get me drunk

We just had some edibles and wandered around making weird jokes about everything.

We went to a ghetto Thai place, and then we walked around some more and he walked me home.

I’m so proud of you. You’ve come such a long way. This has very little to do with him and more so you and what you’ve raised your expectations and standards to be. I know it’s unusual to take that into consideration but the people who surround us are a reflection of us and what we accept in our lives. It’s nice to know you’re finally worth more than what’s just given to you. You have options and you don’t have to settle for situations that make you miserable and uncomfortable. ❤️

@caccoon That’s where I am in life as well too. I think I was always afraid to let certain people in due to abandonment issues and my fear of them leaving, but as I continue to heal I come to the conclusion that it’s perfectly fine if they do leave it doesn’t lessen my value or even make them a bad person. Which that mentally helps me to open up more and become more vulnerable with the people I’d like to have in my life. Because I don’t push them away out of fear but instead I let them in because I know I’ll be okay regardless.
