Body shapes change

I've been looking at myself over a period of time and my body has changed much to my detriment.
I was always a sporty child and in my teens I became plump due to puppy fat. But as I got older I really trimmed up as the muscles were always underneath.
In the few years where I was caring for dad, stressed with uni my crap job and relationship the motivation to do anything really d*ed out.
Although I was cycling I had sciatica and just couldn't keep it up.
I lost so much confidence and put on so much weight.
I was kind of happy that I was unemployed because I didn't have to see anyone and spent many days in bed depressed.
But something in me pushed me to get out there again and I really tried to make the most of summer, fat or not.
And what I looked at was others around me.
People in my age group 30+ tend to have bigger waistlines.
Even if they're active your body shape naturally changes. It's the progression of life.
For some people genetics work really and their metabolism holds up. But for the most part now is the time it slows down so if you're not engaging in sports or keeping to a really strict diet you won't stay "slim".

Having this perspective has really helped me to look at myself differently and even dating men that have appreciated my body for what it is too.
I'm not grotesque, I dress quite conservatively and always have... But what I've enjoyed the most is the fact that I'm not actually in pain.

I hope more people and woman can come to this and just love themselves for all they are naturally. There's beauty and merit in who you are right now.
And someone will love you regardless.
Just be happy being you...

Always remember your total beauty and substance, can never be replicated!

Only you, can ever radiate, the gifts, that were only given to you!

I think that you are sweeter than honey, and have learned qualities, that any man of stature, would instantly recognize, cherish, behold, treasure and love. 😊🥰🌹

Sciatica sucks so bad. It’s hard to do daily chores and keep them up due to pain much less engage in sports or exercise. I had it the last 3 months of 2021.

@Mellowgirl I don’t know exactly what helped but in December I started taking Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K2, helped my joints a lot and then Boron which also helped. In January I started taking Moringa. I think all 3 helped, my sciatica was gone by mid-January. The sciatic nerve is nearly a half-inch wide and they say that’s why it hurt so bad. Also gluten was affecting it about 10 years ago so bad I stopped eating wheat for almost a year and went back to it because the pain was gone.

@Mellowgirl I was hesitant to bend down and pick up anything on the floor or do chores that required bending. I could vacuum up around the birds cages and within a couple hours the pain had increased.

Hormone changes are the culprit many times. Redistributes in fat cells in men and women as estrogen and testosterone drops. Not a good thing, but natural, unfortunately.
Being you is your best asset for most people.

Beautiful sentiment ❤

A person should accept themselves for who they are and learn to love the good aspects of it, and if possible, the flawed aspects of it as well although that might be too difficult for many. (This is not an excuse to be obese if avoidable though)

@Mellowgirl It's medical but many times avoidable
