I wish. I’m that way. She is not.

I don't presently have a love interest or partner but if i did, the answer would be no. Its nice sometimes of course, but not most of the time.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Elisbch @Elisbch 100% agreed...
To be able to get some peace I had to sit the other side of the room
Elisbch · M
In the beginning, I think a lot of couples might touch more but I think it kind of levels out over time. I'm not sure I'd like it if it had to be all the time? And some just naturally like it more or less. My (potential or steady) girlfriend sitting across the room would be a hint I would pick up on..LOL

Im not affectionate mainly but am when in bed.
I normally sit on the floor so its hard to cuddle with her on the sofa lol
But we'll hold hands if sitting together
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Gangstress you two are cute...
I think because he's been pissing me off and demanding cuddles ive not wanted to.
We're no longer in a good space.
And his refusal to let me talk about things shows that he's not particularly interested in resolving it.
He seems to think that just by turning up is significant enough.
Gangstress · 41-45, F
@Mellowgirl yeh its very weird hes doing that.
Im sorry. It feels awkward? There has to be understanding and sacrifice.
At times gem does want affection ill give it. But there's times i dont. But she knows and never grumbles x
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
Were both very affectionate so one of us will definitely reach out and embrace the other.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@DarkSideoftheMoon okay that's cute when it's mutual
DarkSideoftheMoon · 31-35, F
@Mellowgirl thanks its nice when you both share the same love language

I am not needy/clingy, but touch is important.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Northwest agreed. I will great you with a hug and a kiss when I'm happy to see you. But if something is a little off then I won't really be as open.
I also don't like cuddling on the sofa with someone that fidgets and is rather fussy.
I find it irritating and distracting especially if you're watching something on TV.

Sometimes I think when I talk like this it makes me seem especially fussy. But I've dated others that can happily find a position and sit in it for near enough close to half an hour or so before needing to readjust.
Whereas this particular person seemed to fuss every few minutes or so also wanting me to move too.
Ugh!
Northwest · M
@Mellowgirl You're not being extra fussy. It is uncomfortable, on regular basis, to be a contortionist, so you can match someone else's every twitch and move. :-) You can be "close" minus the "cling".
Not always, no. Sometimes when we're out we do, but mostly for comfort.
