Why do people bother to still buy iPods or MP3 players? They are out of date!

I mean what is the point of wasting your money on useless, out of date, vintage shit when you have tables, ipads, mini iPads, Pandora, Spotify, Pandora, iHeart radio, the tv and your laptops?! And HELLO……YOUTUBE?! You don’t need iPods or MP3 players. Or even cassette or CD players! SAVE THAT MONEY! Don’t spending it on useless junk or vintage BS that you’re never going to use! I’m just saying. Don’t get offended when I’m being honest.

An mp3 player is my main method to listen to music. I use it for hours every day

-It doesn't need internet connection
-battery life lasts forever
-I don't need a subscription to play all the music I want
-free of advertisements
-doesn't take up a lot of space in my drawer or pocket.
-I don't care if it's out of date.

Perfectly reasonable I think

imagine people spending their money on whatever they want 😳 omg so embarrassing

@SW-User It isn’t embarrassing, but why spend money on vintage bullshit that you won’t use anymore?
SW-User
@PetiteJulie01 idk, i feel like you're just admitting that you purposefully buy shit you know you won't use. most people don't.

I recently bought one CD. The music can’t be found on Spotify. I could stream it with YouTube but then I’d have to pay for a subscription for the one album. Sometimes vintage things can have a small benefit that modern technology lacks but yes mostly vintage stuff is superfluous.

My iPod is so out of date no one wanted to sell it...I said blah whatever 🤦‍♀️
Chickie · F
@Eklipse I didn't know that they're unsellable now.

@Chickie Where I am it's not worth it.

I listen to pandora and YouTube. Having another gadget doesn’t jive well for me.

God forbid people buy stuff that they want or enjoy. Shame on them!

I don't buy out of date iPods because they are too expensive...I still have three old ones I use anyway

The question should be why are people putting up with crap battery lives, remove he option to listen to analog recordings, and no option to use a decent pair of headphones

Do you understand what file format all those services use? 🤔

Exception vinyl, cassette or tape.

You can say thank you at anytime! 😁
PetiteJulie01 · 22-25, F
