An mp3 player is my main method to listen to music. I use it for hours every day
-It doesn't need internet connection
-battery life lasts forever
-I don't need a subscription to play all the music I want
-free of advertisements
-doesn't take up a lot of space in my drawer or pocket.
-I don't care if it's out of date.
Perfectly reasonable I think

imagine people spending their money on whatever they want 😳 omg so embarrassing

@SW-User It isn’t embarrassing, but why spend money on vintage bullshit that you won’t use anymore?

@PetiteJulie01 idk, i feel like you're just admitting that you purposefully buy shit you know you won't use. most people don't.

I recently bought one CD. The music can’t be found on Spotify. I could stream it with YouTube but then I’d have to pay for a subscription for the one album. Sometimes vintage things can have a small benefit that modern technology lacks but yes mostly vintage stuff is superfluous.

My iPod is so out of date no one wanted to sell it...I said blah whatever 🤦♀️

I listen to pandora and YouTube. Having another gadget doesn’t jive well for me.

God forbid people buy stuff that they want or enjoy. Shame on them!

I don't buy out of date iPods because they are too expensive...I still have three old ones I use anyway
The question should be why are people putting up with crap battery lives, remove he option to listen to analog recordings, and no option to use a decent pair of headphones

Do you understand what file format all those services use? 🤔
Exception vinyl, cassette or tape.
You can say thank you at anytime! 😁
