No, my politics align with how I live. I wouldn’t want to be with someone who lived/voted in direct opposition of my fundamental values. I’ve tried that whole, “let’s just not talk about politics” approach and in the end that opposition always appears in other important areas of the relationship.
Ex: Dafaq you mean you vote pro-choice? You don’t believe in the separation of religion and state? You don’t support social programs? Etc.
